A few words of encouragement…
Jefferson County Commissioner:
“I wish to express my support for the good work that Manager Danny McEnerney is doing with the Jeff. Co. Fair Association. I’m pleased to see the work that Danny has invested in updating the organizational by-laws to streamline processes, increase transparency and provide a professional framework for doing business.
Non-Profit Volunteer:
“Danny is probably the only most positive optimistic person I have met in Port Townsend. During one volunteer working party I attended, there were multiple people out there driven by Danny’s leadership giving up their weekend to help the Fairgrounds. The community needs youth events and countless other events to bring all of us back together. Danny McEnerney and his family have been spear heading that mission and without question has been 100% successful in that. 30 Plus people are attending meetings regularly now to be a part of the movement for a great cause created by and under Danny’s leadership.”
City Council Member:
“This is such an awesome funding report, Danny. It’s so great to see how a small offering from PT taxpayers enhanced by the volunteer efforts of the PTAC commissioners is further enhanced by the passion of you, Marc, Sarah, MB and is taken to the next level by the comfort-stretching efforts of the kids – who will one day be taxpayers, teachers and volunteers themselves – and to the impact on the people who watched and were rejuvenated by the play and the further branding on the Fairgrounds as a freeform campus for kids and lifelong learning in general and on an on with ripple effects that we can’t even imagine. That is the definition of community.”
